    In the fourth of a series of interviews, Zimmerman describes the development of Hershey Foods Corporation’s corporate structure and staff.  He discusses the corporation’s first strategic plan and the weaknesses it identified, management succession planning, disaster planning following the incident at Three Mile Island (TMI), and the development of a formal government affairs department.  Zimmerman also describes his role as Chief Operating Officer (COO) and William Dearden’s role as Chief Executive Officer (CEO).  The interview also includes discussion of acquisitions, diversification, the creation of the Chocolate Division, land use planning with the other Hershey Entities, and the introduction of Class B stock in addition to common stock.
