    McKinney’s sixth interview begins with his appointment to CEO of HERCO.  McKinney describes his efforts to divest the company of its outside properties, Poconos, Philadelphia, Corpus Christi, and Lake Compounce, and generate profit.  He details the strategies implemented, which included debt refinancing.  He recalls the work of Scott Newkam and Franklin Shearer.  McKinney also discusses his tenure on the Milton Hershey School Board of Managers and Hershey Trust Company Board.  Topics include: School presidents Frances O’Connor, William Lepley, and interim president Rod Pera, and the 21st Century Initiative.
