    Malaro describes her Italian ancestry and her parent’s immigration to the United States.  Her family lived on East Derry Road, her father and many of her siblings worked for Hershey Chocolate.  Her father and brother later operated Castelli’s Restaurant on West Derry.  Malaro worked as a tour guide in the Hershey Factory and provides details regarding the standard route and famous visitors.  The interview also includes discussion of Derry Township Public Schools, discrimination against Italian immigrants, and Malaro’s work as a receptionist for Hershey Chocolate Corporation and HERCO.
