    Zimmerman describes the duties of his father, Dwight L. Zimmerman, who served as park policeman during the 1930s and 1940s. As park policeman, his father’s duties included: patrolling Hershey Park and other Hershey properties; patrolling Derry Township; escorting famous performers; and collecting night deposits for the bank. Zimmerman briefly mentions how the Pennsylvania State Police Academy would assist the local police force.
