Serff graduated from Shippensburg and took a position in quality control and process control analysis with DuPont. In 1968 he came to Hershey as Director of Personnel, Hershey Estates. His job involved labor negotiations, workmen's compensation, hiring, payroll and special events. After 1970, emphasis was made on costs, revenue and core businesses as directed by the Executive Committee. Reflects on corporate executives. In 1973, when the Park was being redeveloped, he joined the staff as Assistant G.M. Recounts some of the ampitheater entertainers and acts and the concerts in the stadium.
