    Meyers graduated from Lebanon Valley College.  Started as a chemist at Hershey Chocolate under Sam Hinkle, also did work for Hershey Estates.  Gives examples of varied tasks performed:  examining goos cadaver for poisoning. Discusses previous chemists and his contemporaries.  Coating business, chocolate samples.  Recalls M.S. Hershey experiments, anecdotes.  His perception of 1937 strike.  Became chief chemist 1949.  Moved to new research lab in 1966, other duties transferred to others.
